Nope! Not when talking about Ermanno Scervino’s Fall Winter collection it is not. I was really curious to closely inspect the following look… and voila, what happened next was an outburst only fitting for something with mental health issues.
So this entire collection basically was inspired by the Glam Rock movement of not the 80s, but the 70’s. It was one focused steadily on a long and lean, but inexplicable opulent silhouette.
The colour shades were mostly Camel, Grey and Beige, and had that previously observed 1960’s ladylike modesty, which is a trend that is not going anywhere. I love the use of rugged materials which are either softened using accesories in pastel colours, or fur collars. Que linda!
It wasn’t a literal seventies interpretation, there were tons of futuristic digs, as it seems is something the Italian designer makes a conscious decision to achieve.
A mi, me encantan mucho esas desenas…. Que buenisima!
